Too often electrical inspections and PAT testing are carried out by electrical contractors who charge exorbitant costs for a second rate service, sometimes using apprentices to carry out important Health and Safety checks or supplying test registers and certificates which do not meet industry standards.

The other option for the customer is the 'specialist' PAT testing company who seldom use qualified electricians and routinely fail to update their staff on the most recent regulation changes.
